Our Partnership with Appseed

Saturday 5th December, 2020 —

We are very pleased to annouce that we recently partnered with Appseed, an intelligent tool to speed up your design and development process.

What is Appseed?

AppSeed is a full stack web app generator that allows you to choose a visual theme and apply it on a full, but flexible, technology stack in just a few minutes, greatly improving development time from visual design to application deployment.

Supported frameworks include VueJS, React, jQuery, Angular or Bootstrap in the frontend with node.js (JavaScript), Laravel (PHP) or Flask (Python) in the backend. AppSeed apps are ready for deployment on your favorite infrastructure via Docker, Kubernetes, AWS or Heroku.

Appseed also provides a Full-Stack Web App Generator and pre-built Web Apps prototyped in different patterns: Admin Dashboards, Static Sites, JAMstack. AppSeed is used by 1200+ registered developers and plays an active role in the open-source ecosystem.

Built for developers

Anyone, even without an account, can use AppSeed to generate web apps and code modern apps on top of our boilerplates. The official repository contains more than 40 projects released under the MIT license. Read more about Appseed features here. You heard well, MIT license. That means you don't even have to pay for it!

Premium products

Eventhough Appseed offers a lot of free quality products released under the MIT license, they also have a variety of top crafted UI design systems and theme that you can buy for a very reasonable price. Of course, working with a free product can be fine when you are just prototyping or starting on a project.

However, you'll eventually end up wanting more available features, layouts and components to use in your project. That's where Appseed's premium products come into play: an easy way to setup a real and running project within minutes, with the UI of your choice.

How we work with Appseed

We recently began working with Appseed and the first template we handed over is our famous Bulma Dashboard : Dashkit.

Dashkit is currently available in two flavours:

  • Flask Dashkit Pro: Built with Flask. Flask is a Python web framework built with a small core, perfect for crafting API's and complex web apps. Read more about this framework by accessing the official Flask docs or related Flask articles published on our blog. More info here.
  • Django Dashkit Pro: Built with Django. Django is a high-level Python Web framework that encourages rapid development and clean, pragmatic design. Built by experienced developers, it takes care of much of the hassle of Web development, so you can focus on writing your app without needing to reinvent the wheel. It's free and open source. More info here.

And what Next?

This is just the beginning of our partnership. We will keep adding more and more premium products to the Appseed pool, so that you can easily get started with your favorite Css Ninja UI templates and themes.
