Forum rules

How you should use the Forum

Now that you are here, you should already now about the general guidelines. If not, you should read them before starting to read this. We figured this was necessary to define forum rules because a lot of people post threads without thinking, and without realizing that there is no possible way they could get help because of the way they posted the question. Here are some general guidelines.

Use search first

please use the forum’s search feature first to see if there are already some good topics on the subject you are looking for. It’s easy to search – Enter your search terms in the "search topics" field at the top left of a forum channel page and hit Enter.

Be descriptive

Post a descriptive topic name. Give a short summary of your problem in the subject. Don’t use attention getting subjects or uppercase subjects. They don’t get attention and only annoy people.

Support requests

For support requests, product name and version are absolutely needed. First describe the steps to reproduce your problem. You should also give a description of what you were trying to achieve when you ran into the problem. Be as precise as possible, post links and code to help us troubleshoot your problem.

Issue reports

If you are encountering a serious problem that has to do with the product's code and you think it's worth opening an issue, report the issue on the theme's github repository. You can access each theme's github repository from the theme details page, or from our main github page. You can then reference this issue in an appropriate forum topic.

Feature requests

You can also use the github issue section to post feature requests.

Please try as much as possible to stick to these rules for a better experience using the forum. Repeated violations of these rules (and the global rules) will result in a temporary or permanent ban (regarding severity of the offense) of your account.
