Dokto is a Free Landing Page starter built with Astro, Tailwind CSS, and Alpine JS.
Dokto is a landing page freebie that we had a great pleasure making for you. It features a single page with a few sections to get started. Dokto is based on Tailwind CSS framework and it's easy to use flexbox grid. Dokto features a solid set of reusable components that are designed to fit as many purposes as possible. They are also easy to customize and to combine with others.
Alpine is a rugged, minimal tool for composing behavior directly in your markup. Think of it like jQuery for the modern web. Plop in a script tag and get going. There is no better way to get a feel for what Alpine is and what it can do than using it. Alpine's declarative syntax synergizes extremely well with Tailwind CSS utilities.
Tailwind CSS is a utility-first CSS framework for rapidly building custom user interfaces. It is a highly customizable, low-level CSS framework that gives you all of the building blocks you need to build bespoke designs without any annoying opinionated styles you have to fight to override. The beauty of this beast resides in the fact that it doesn’t impose any design specifications or indications on how your site should look like. You simply bring tiny components together to build a user interface that is unique. This makes Dokto a very intuitive HTML template to use in development.
This template is powered by Astro. Astro is an all-in-one web framework for building fast, content-focused websites. This includes most marketing sites, publishing sites, documentation sites, blogs, portfolios, and some ecommerce sites. Astro features lightning-fast cold server start, instant hot module replacement (HMR) and true on-demand compilation.
With Tailwind, you style elements by applying pre-existing classes directly in your HTML. By using utility classes in this way, you can build custom designs without writing CSS. Without a framework like Tailwind, you have to keep writing CSS as you add new features and components. As a result, your CSS files continue to grow and get heavier. By using utilities like Tailwind’s flexbox and padding utilities, most styles are reusable so you rarely need to write new CSS. You can easily copy existing components and start tweaking them up to reach what you need.
Dokto is built with Tailwind CSS, wich is natively fit for mobile and tablets, as a mobile first CSS framework. Dokto is ultra responsive and handles all types of viewports, such as mobile devices and tablets in both orientations.
